Not long ago we wrote about the start of sales in Russia of the mid-sized crossover Haval M6, and now there is interesting news that the assembly of this car can be organized in Russia at the Haval plant in Tula. This was told in an interview with the publication 'Kommersant' by the executive director of 'Haval Motor Rus', Andrey Akifyev.
Usually, manufacturing a car in the country allows to reduce its cost, so theoretically, the 'Russian' Haval M6 can become cheaper. In answer to the question about maintaining the price at the level of 2 million rubles, the top manager said so:
"We are keeping up for now. I hope it will be possible, because the task of this model is to give comfort and size of a cool car for an affordable price".
Reminder, the Haval M6 is equipped with a 1.5-liter engine with a power of 143 hp, which works in conjunction with a manual transmission or a 'robot'. The price is, accordingly, 1.95 or 2.1 million rubles.
