Production Volumes of Russian EVM Pro Electric Trucks Based on UAZ "Profi" Planned to Increase 5-Fold by 2025

"Russian Railways" and "Russian Post" Among Potential Customers for the Vehicle

Natalia Shorina, Head of the Press Service of "Electromobiles Manufakturing rus", announced plans to significantly increase the production volumes of EVM Pro electric trucks.

«The plant's capacity is one thousand vehicles per year. We want to do much more because we estimate the market capacity to be around 10 thousand vehicles per year on average. We want to increase it to 5 thousand by purchasing additional industrial sites,» Shorina said. She added that they want to implement the plan by 2025.

EVM Pro was introduced in February 2022, it was created on the UAZ "Profi" chassis. The range of the 3.5-ton electric vehicle on a single charge is up to 300 km, while the permissible payload can reach 1 ton. Previously, the Moscow government reported that potential customers of EVM Pro could be "Russian Railways", "Russian Post" and other large companies.
