A new anti-aircraft gun based on the well-known domestic BTR-82 armored personnel carrier was shown for the first time at the International Youth Industrial Forum "Engineers of the Future – 2023".
The vehicle is equipped with a pair of 23-millimeter 2A7 anti-aircraft guns, a radar station, a sighting system, and a panoramic surveillance system.
This light "anti-aircraft gun" was obviously created to combat various kinds of drones – reconnaissance drones, kamikaze drones, loitering munitions, etc. It is assumed that all the "attachments" can be installed on other wheeled and tracked platforms.
