Federal Chemistry Center to appear in Russia. Investments will amount to 830 billion rubles

The center plans to produce epichlorohydrin, epoxy resin, phosphorus

The government of the Irkutsk region announced that JSC "Russian Hydrogen" has established a management company LLC "Federal Chemistry Center "Usolye-Sibirskoye"" to create a corresponding center in the region.

«We have established a management company. Investments in the Federal Center for the Development of the Chemical Industry in the Irkutsk Region will amount to about 830 billion rubles over 10 years. We are also considering attracting state support measures, especially in the infrastructure of the project and R&D», – said Eduard Davydov, General Director of "Russian Hydrogen".

«We are planning to launch the production of epichlorohydrin, epoxy resin, phosphorus and its derivatives, and other types of products in demand by consumers», – added Davydov. It is also known that one of the key projects of the center will be the organization of membrane electrolysis for the production of caustic soda and chlorine.

JSC "Russian Hydrogen" is a management company that includes a number of chemical industries on a cluster basis.
