The company "Center for the Development of Hydroabrasive Technologies" (CDHT) from Chelyabinsk will create the first Russian hydroabrasive machine - for cutting metal with water.
It will be released in 2024, investment for development under the "Import Substitution" program will amount to 30 million rubles. It is planned that the machine will consist of 80% domestic components.
The Ministry of Industry of the Chelyabinsk Region reported that the new machine will not be inferior in quality and characteristics to Western counterparts, and spare parts will surpass those produced in China. At present, CDHT itself supplies and sells Turkish and Chinese-manufactured machines.
