Rostec has created a robot sapper – for detecting and eliminating anti-personnel mines

The first batch of machines may be delivered as early as 2023

The Rostec holding demonstrated a robot sapper at the international exhibition "Integrated Security": the demining machine is designed to detect and eliminate anti-personnel mines.

A chain hammer trawl is used as a working element in the device, and solid-filled wheels and add-on tracks provide high resistance and cross-country ability. The robot can be controlled both by a driver in the cabin and remotely – by an operator located at a distance of up to 1 kilometer.

Rostec notes that the first batch of robot sappers may be delivered as early as this year.
