Demand for new pickups is growing in Moscow, with Chinese brands almost completely displacing "Japanese" ones in this segment

According to "Autostat Info," the Moscow pickup market in April 2023 grew by 2.1 times compared to April of last year. A total of 385 new pickups were sold - 10% more than in March.

Foreign cars secured three-quarters of the market (291 vehicles sold), while the remaining 24.4% or 94 units are UAZ "Patriot", which holds the second place in the ranking. In first place is the Great Wall Poer with 95 cars sold (annual growth of almost 12 times), in third place is JAC, which sold 39 of its pickups.

Analysts note that in the capital's pickup market, Chinese models have almost completely replaced the previous favorites - Japanese pickups Toyota and Mitsubishi.
