JSC "Remdizel" announced that the public premiere of the new domestic armored car "Phoenix" will take place in August - the novelty will be shown at the "Army-2023" forum, which will be held in Kubinka from August 14 to 20.
«Among the novelties at the "Army-2023" forum, we plan to present for the first time a fully import-substituted version of the "Typhoon-K53949" armored car, named "Phoenix". The body of the new modification of the vehicle is adapted to a serial chassis, which made it possible to reduce its cost and increase production rates», — Remdizel said and added that the abandonment of the special chassis, on the basis of which the "Typhoon-K" was previously built, is due to military realities that require the rapid equipping of the army with simple but high-quality equipment.
Among the features of "Typhoon-K" and, therefore, "Phoenix", is increased anti-mine and ballistic protection, as well as seats for landing troops with a suspension system, seat belts and headrests.
