«We started the import substitution program several years ago and today we are meeting the needs of the aerospace industry in all key materials, including for increasing the production of Su-57 fighters», – said Vladimir Artyakov.

«We must provide aircraft manufacturers with modern materials, because without them it is impossible to create new equipment, on which the future of our country largely depends. This issue became particularly acute after the departure of foreign companies from Russia», – he added.

As TASS writes, new composites are not only stronger than delta-wood and aluminum alloys, but also much lighter.
