Last week, the head of the Russian government, Mikhail Mishustin, visited the exposition of the Caucasian Investment Exhibition, where he examined the products of the company "Beshtau Electronics" from Yessentuki at the stand of the Stavropol Territory.
«Today we produce keyboards, mice, monitors. Here the component base is 50%, unfortunately, not yet Russian», – said the governor of the region, Vladimir Vladimirov, addressing Mishustin. But according to Vladimirov, the situation can be changed by the introduction of a scoring system in the federal law "On the contract system in the field of procurement of goods, works, services to ensure state and municipal needs" – this will allow increasing the production of computer equipment in the Russian Federation.
«I will definitely give instructions to the Ministry of Industry and Trade to look at localization. Everything is correct. This is a very important direction. And we should not be shy when we produce elements, cases, keyboards, mice. It's okay if we start with this and do it with high quality», - Mishustin replied to this.
The Chairman of the government also noted the need to receive feedback from users and refine devices taking it into account: «It is imperative to work in this regard so that import substitution, or, let's say, our technologies are evaluated by people and provide the necessary quality in constant improvement».
