«JSC "NII Stali" has launched serial production of titanium helmets "Elbrus-T". The titanium helmet has a number of advantages over fully composite helmets. One of them is a higher resistance to fragments of natural crushing, having sharp cutting edges (fragments of hand grenades, grenade launcher shots VOG, mines, high-explosive fragmentation projectiles)», – Kalashnikov said.

Representatives of the concern noted that the titanium helmet outperforms competitors in terms of characteristics. But its production cycle is decent: even taking into account the existing production facilities and established supply chains, the helmet production cycle is at least 3 months.
