Today, AvtoVAZ announced the start of sales of Lada Granta with a 16-valve engine. The most affordable version of the Granta with this engine is estimated at 865.5 thousand rubles. This is the price for a sedan in the Comfort configuration with two airbags, heated front seats, air conditioning, audio system.
The 16-valve engine is slightly more powerful than the 8-valve engine - the power is, respectively, 106 and 90 hp. According to AvtoVAZ, the Granta sedan in the combined cycle with the new old engine consumes 6.5 liters of gasoline per 100 km. It is expected that in May this engine will also appear under the hood of the Vesta, but it is not yet clear whether sales of 16-valve Vesta will start at the same time.
