The Ministry of Digital Development (Mintsifry) of the Russian Federation is working on the creation of an electronic registry of military service at the order of the Ministry of Defense. According to the head of the department, Maksut Shadaev, the launch of the digital registry will not take place until the beginning of the next autumn conscription for military service.
«The exact dates for the launch of the registry will be determined after the adoption of the law, but most likely, it will not be possible to launch it in full before the start of the next autumn conscription for military service», - wrote Maksut Shadaev.
The head of the Mintsifry explained that with the introduction of the registry, citizens are relieved of the obligation to inform the military registration and enlistment offices about changes, in particular, their marital status, registration, place of work and education.
