Belarusian "KB Radar" has developed and is mass-producing the "Groza-R5" electronic warfare gun for combating multicopters. The product detects, locates, and suppresses drones equipped with navigation equipment of GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, and Galileo systems. This was reported by the press service of the State Military-Industrial Committee of Belarus.
As part of the product's improvement, its operating frequencies have been supplemented with the 430 MHz band, which has expanded the capabilities for detecting and jamming modern and promising drones.
The device locates UAVs even in conditions of limited visibility. The "Groza-R5" comes with a portable multicopter detector "Zvonok." It reports the appearance of an air threat.
The State Military-Industrial Committee of Belarus emphasized that the electronic warfare gun is effective, simple, and easy to use.
