The service will replace foreign solutions that have become unavailable due to sanctions. Already, more than 30 million messages are transmitted through it annually.

ACARS allows real-time exchange of technical diagnostic data for aircraft systems, including in the event of abnormal situations. Airport ground services will be able to receive this information in advance and prepare for the reception and maintenance of the aircraft.

Azimut's development is already used by Aeroflot and Belavia. The holding has received requests for ACARS implementation from foreign airlines.

Azimut is also responsible for organizing the ground infrastructure network at airports. Based on ACARS, a digital broadcasting service for aerodrome information (D-ATIS) has been implemented. In addition, specialists are testing a digital departure clearance system (DCL) and digital controller-pilot communication via data links.
