Russo-Balt from "Battle of Motors" listed for 7800 rubles - but it can't be driven

The replica was built according to old drawings: under the hood is a 4.9-liter gasoline engine

The replica of the "Russo-Balt S24/55", which Ivan Yankovsky and Yura Borisov drove in the film "Battle of Motors", was listed for 7800 rubles. The price refers to the cost of cars of this brand in the early XX century, but it will not be possible to get the car by simply paying: its new owner will be determined by the results of a promotion, and the car itself will remain a movie prop that cannot be registered with the traffic police.

The replica was built according to historical drawings in the design bureau of Igor Ermilin, who previously worked on Marussia and Rossa projects. With a length of 4.4 m, the car weighs 1.3 tons. Under the hood is a 4.9-liter gasoline engine with 55 hp, and the fuel tank holds 50 liters. To date, the car has traveled 3257 km.

In the film, the car is connected to the story of Andrey Nagel and engineer Dmitry Bondarev, played by Yankovsky and Borisov. According to the plot, in 1908, the heroes set off on a race along the route St. Petersburg — Monaco. The historical prototype of the Russo-Balt S24/55 became famous for its participation in the Monte Carlo Rally, and the creators of the film recreated the car for filming.

To claim the replica, you need to buy a movie ticket through "Afisha" and register it on a special promotion website. The winner will be chosen by a random number generator on October 22, 2026. At the same time, 7800 rubles is a symbolic price, not the cost of a full-fledged car for everyday use: the prop is not intended for registration with the traffic police.
