The video service Rutube has started testing an AI assistant for creators. This was announced by the press service of Gazprom-Media Holding's digital assets. The tool will be integrated into Rutube Studio. It will be able to suggest ideas and scripts for videos, form a content plan, create titles and SEO-optimized descriptions, select tags and timestamps. The system will also analyze the author's channel, trends, and competitive environment.
How it works in the pilot phase
In the first stage, the AI assistant will offer the author five ideas for new videos, taking into account the channel's theme, and will form a content plan based on them. The second scenario is the analysis of a finished video before publication. The system will suggest title options, generate a description, break the video into timestamps, and recommend visual solutions for the cover. In addition, the AI will evaluate previously uploaded videos before publication.
What's next
Other features include advanced content and channel analytics, recommendations for improving video effectiveness, analysis of comments and statistics, and tools for adapting long videos into short formats. The system will also track current trends and help analyze content from other channels.
Sergey Kosinsky, Deputy General Director and Head of Digital Assets at Gazprom-Media Holding, noted that the less time an author spends on routine tasks, the more resources remain for producing new videos and engaging with the audience. According to him, for video platforms, this leads to an increase in content volume and regularity, as well as increased engagement and viewing time.
