RBC: After an attack on Yandex data center, Russian services experienced a malfunction

The Yandex data center in Sasovo, Ryazan Oblast, completely ceased operations after a fire, which, according to the company, occurred as a result of a drone attack. RBC reports this. There were no casualties, and the company is rectifying the consequences.

Problems with page loading occurred on the websites of Russian media. Specifically, pages of Vedomosti, RIA Novosti, Kommersant, IS Vesti, Interfax, and RBC did not load.

GK Astral warned of possible interruptions in electronic reporting, document management, and shipping documents. The company attributed them to the incident at the Yandex data center. Astral noted that documents and data are saved upon submission, despite the possible appearance of an error notification.

Earlier, it was reported that Cian users experienced problems accessing the website and application. A company representative confirmed to RBC that the malfunction was related to an incident at a partner's facility.
