Ministry of Industry and Trade: Share of Russian Agricultural Machinery to Grow to 80% by 2030

Currently, it occupies 55% of the market, and localization reaches 83%

The share of domestic agricultural machinery and equipment in the Russian market is 55%. By 2030, the Ministry of Industry and Trade plans to increase it to 80%. This was announced by the head of the ministry, Anton Alikhanov, at the plenary session of the "Golden Autumn" exhibition.

For certain types of machinery, the share is already significantly higher. In the tractor segment, Russian and Belarusian production accounts for 86%, grain harvesters — more than 80%, forage harvesting equipment — more than 70%.

Alikhanov noted that the task is not easy, but expressed confidence in its achievement. According to him, joint work with the Ministry of Agriculture to support R&D will help this. The level of localization in the industry currently stands at 83%: by 2030, it is planned to raise it to 90%.
