Budgetary funding for the national project on unmanned aircraft systems for 2027–2029 will exceed 103 billion rubles. This is stated in the explanatory note to the draft federal budget.
In 2027, it is planned to allocate 28 billion rubles, in 2028 — 31.9 billion, and in 2029 — 43.3 billion. For 2026, 29.9 billion rubles were provided.
Where the funds will go
8.6 billion rubles will be directed to the development, standardization, and serial production of unmanned aircraft systems and their components in 2027, 11.6 billion in 2028, and 17.3 billion in 2029. The growth in this area is twofold.
Almost 26 billion rubles have been allocated for R&D support over three years. 1.3 billion rubles are provided for technology development for the project in 2027, and 10.4 billion for demand stimulation.
The personnel training project for drones will receive 270 million rubles over three years. In 2026, 1 billion rubles were allocated for this area. This is the most significant reduction in the expenditure structure.
