Artificial intelligence will replace most of cinema and many professions in this field, believes director Alexey German Jr. He stated this to TASS within the framework of the XII St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum — Forum of United Cultures.
According to the director, AI will take over a large percentage, but highly artistic works and films with stars will remain. First, a huge amount of junk content will appear, then it will change and get better, and after that, actors will appear whom viewers will follow.
German noted that AI is already replacing many professions and filming technologies. This is happening right now, which is tragic, as people are losing their jobs. However, the process is inevitable.
