The Russian switch market has grown, but Chinese vendors still account for about half of government equipment purchases. In January–June 2026, about 1.8 thousand switch purchases worth 5.7 billion rubles were made under 44-FZ and 223-FZ. About 49% of the equipment came from Chinese vendors
According to B2B-RTS, Chinese vendors accounted for about 49% of purchases. TP-Link accounted for 15%, and another 23% went to “unnamed models.” Russian SNR accounted for about 11%.
At the same time, the market grew 2.2 times in two years. In the first half of 2024, switches accounted for 3.6 billion rubles in purchases, and in 2025 — already 4.1 billion.
There is also an opposite trend. According to Konstantin Nakhimovsky, Product Director of Aquarius Group, Russian switches account for about 30% of the market. However, the share of domestic solutions varies by segment.
In the segment of access switches and entry-level switches for data center networks, the share of Russian solutions is already larger than foreign ones, but, for example, in the segment of high-performance switches — it is still low.
Yadro estimates the entire switch market, including operator, corporate, and industrial segments, at 27–30 billion rubles including VAT for the first half of 2026.
