The light aircraft X-32 "Bekas", performing agricultural work, made a hard landing in a field in Ulyanovsk Oblast. The incident was reported on September 22 by emergency services, and later the Central Interregional Investigative Directorate for Transport of the Investigative Committee of Russia confirmed the accident and the pilot's hospitalization.
According to preliminary data, the aircraft was performing chemical treatment of fields under a contract with a local agricultural holding. The aircraft belongs to a private entrepreneur registered in Krasnodar Krai. No damage on the ground was recorded during the incident, and the pilot survived.
The Investigative Committee clarified that the aircraft made a hard landing and sustained damage. The pilot was sent to the hospital, and the circumstances of the aviation incident are to be established during the investigation.
The causes of the accident, including possible technical malfunctions or specifics of the agricultural flight, have not yet been established.
