Altayvagon has received a certificate of conformity for the serial production of the new hopper-mineral wagon model 19-2174. The document is valid until August 2031, and the wagon's assigned service life is 26 years. Production will be organized at the "Kemerovokhimmash" site, which is part of Altayvagon.
The four-axle hopper wagon is designed to gauge 1-T with an axle load of 25 tf. Model 18-9800 bogies are used in the running gear. The body is made of low-alloy steel. Due to the increased axle load, a carrying capacity of 76 tons is provided, with a nominal body volume of 120 m³.
The hopper has 6 discharge hatches. Variations with 4 or 5 loading hatches are provided. The length over the auto-coupler axes is 14.7 meters.
Altayvagon entered the hopper segment in 2022, certifying its first model 19-2165. It also has an axle load of 25 tf, and its basic parameters for carrying capacity and body volume match the new model. Currently, the manufacturer's portfolio also includes grain wagon 19-2168 and mineral wagon 19-2170 with an axle load of 23.5 tf.
