The unique "Zveroboy" air defense system, equipped with high-speed "Kraken" interceptor drones, was presented for the first time at the All-Russian Arms Forum. The event started in Moscow on September 15. This was reported by the press service of the "Kalashnikov" concern.
"Zveroboy" is designed to protect critical facilities from drones such as "Leleka", "Lyuty", "Bober", Hornet-XR.
The air defense system includes:
- automated workstation of the ground control station
- optical targeting system
- 3 launch containers (LC)
- digital repeater
- technical compartment with distribution board and switching unit
- compass on an extendable pole
- radar system
Kalashnikov's development is equipped with multirotor FPV drones, 3 units in each launch container. The interceptors are packed with a warhead and can be used day and night.
At night, "Kraken-N" FPV drones with a thermal imaging camera are used, the concern's press service explained.
The newest "Zveroboy" air defense system is capable of reliably hitting aerial targets at "its" distance using high-speed interceptor drones, ensuring complete safety of the protected object.
The concern can offer the customer 2 versions of "Zveroboy": stationary and on a vehicle chassis. The mobile version of the complex will be in demand for quick deployment and camouflage.
When creating "Zveroboy", the developers focused on versatility. It can be integrated with existing surveillance and perimeter security systems of the controlled object, summarized the Kalashnikov concern.
