Shvabe Holding of Rostec State Corporation has for the first time presented in India a range of medical equipment for dentistry, gynecology, and ophthalmology, as well as Zenit photographic equipment. The premiere took place at the INNOPROM. India exhibition.
A key development is a dental operating microscope with 40x digital magnification. It generates a 3D image and displays it on a screen: the doctor works without eyepieces, maintaining a natural body position, and controls magnification and focus with a foot pedal, keeping their hands free.
The KNb-04LED-Zenit colposcope for gynecology detects precancerous conditions at an early stage – in India, cervical cancer ranks second in prevalence among women. The LS-01-Zenit slit lamp provides a stereo effect when examining the cornea, lens, and retina.
All products are manufactured by the S. A. Zverev Krasnogorsk Plant; within the Shvabe circuit, four other enterprises are involved in medical technology. The Zenit brand is already familiar in India: during Soviet times, cameras were officially supplied to the country. Now the holding has brought the Zenit M digital camera with a full-frame 24-megapixel CMOS sensor and Zenitar and Helios lenses.
