"Rosseti" is moving away from the foreign SAP system, which is used for managing financial and economic activities. Part of the current system based on SAP ERP 6.0 is planned to be replaced by the Russian platform "1C:Enterprise 8" and the Tantor database management system.
The new system should take over accounting, procurement, logistics, inventory management, cost management, sales, document management, loans and borrowings, and also connect with a number of other corporate systems.
389 million rubles have already been allocated for the project. The work is planned to be completed no later than September 30, 2028.
"Rosseti" posted the tender on September 2, 2026, on the public procurement website. Applications can be submitted until September 18, and the contractor should be determined on September 29. The customer for the work is AO "Rosseti Tsifra", and the functional customer is PAO "Rosseti Ural".
Currently, SAP ERP 6.0 is used in "Rosseti Ural" for managing financial and economic activities. The system includes financial modules responsible for accounting, settlements with creditors and debtors, financial management, special registers, and fixed asset accounting.
SAP is also used for logistics, procurement and inventory management, cost accounting, sales and invoicing, document management, as well as accounting for loans, borrowings, and bills of exchange. Now all of this should transition to domestic solutions.
One of the main conditions of the project is technological independence
All software required for the system to operate must be included in the Unified Register of Russian Programs for Electronic Computers and Databases.
At the same time, the new system must not depend on foreign software or its libraries. The documentation specifically lists SAP, Java, Microsoft, iOS, and Android as examples of foreign components whose dependence is not allowed.
For users, the recommended environment is the "Alt Rabochaya stantsiya" operating system along with the "R7-Office. Professional" office suite and "Yandex Browser".
The supplied programs must be supported by the manufacturer at least until the system is put into commercial operation. At the same time, the system itself must be delivered with the latest available software version at that time.
The new ERP should not operate in isolation but together with the existing IT infrastructure of "Rosseti Ural". To do this, it will need to be integrated with several corporate systems.
The scale of the project is also related to the size of the "Rosseti" group itself. It manages 2.5 million km of power lines and electrical substations with a total capacity of 877 thousand MVA. More than 80% of all electricity generated in the country is transmitted through the group's networks.
The group includes 45 subsidiaries and affiliates, including 19 distribution grid companies. The total number of personnel is about 235 thousand people.
