CIAM has developed design documentation for the RPD-150T rotary-piston engine, which covers all needs in the range from 50 to 500 hp. Additionally, a 500 hp piston engine and a 350 hp rotary-piston engine are being created. Turbojet, turbofan, turboshaft, and turboprop power plants are also under development.

The main problem in the development of small aviation is the availability of investments: aircraft must have sufficient mass production and low cost. Therefore, the ministry intends to unify engines, units, and instruments so that one component can fit different types of machines.
