Russian servicemen have developed an amphibious robot for cargo delivery based on the ground robotic complex (NRTK) "Kuryer". This was stated by the head of the training center of the engineering brigade of the "Sever" group with the call sign Khoron.
The amphibious robot approaches a water obstacle, descends and swims across it, then continues its movement.
Buoys were installed on the "Kuryer", propellers for rowing were added, and the control was refined for stability on the water. Now the modernized version of the robot is capable of performing tasks that a ground platform cannot handle.
The amphibian can be used as a cargo delivery vehicle or a kamikaze. The NRTK has already been tested in real combat conditions for cargo transportation, Khoron concluded.
The NRTK "Kuryer" was developed by engineers from "NRTK KAPS" and the Omsk Automobile and Armored Engineering Institute (OABII). It is considered the most mass-produced robot in the Russian army.
