The missile boat "Strelets" with hull number 706 has entered the final stage of completion at the "Vympel" shipyard in Rybinsk. The Project 12418 "Molniya" ship received the "Uran-E" anti-ship missile system, a 76-mm AK-176MA-01 artillery mount, and two 30-mm AK-630M mounts.
"Strelets" belongs to a series of boats that "Vympel" is completing based on hulls originally laid down under the export Project 12421.
The main strike armament of "Strelets" is the "Uran-E" complex with Kh-35UE anti-ship missiles. According to published data, the boat carries eight missiles. The artillery part includes one 76.2-mm AK-176MA and two six-barreled 30-mm AK-630M.
The "Pozitiv-ME" and "Mineral-ME" radar systems are responsible for detecting and tracking surface targets. The MR-123-02 "Bagira" system is used for artillery fire control. These systems allow the boat to monitor the surface situation and use missile and artillery weapons as part of a single complex.
Project 12418 is designed for operations in the near sea zone. According to published technical data, the displacement of the boat is about 580 tons, the length is approximately 56.9 meters, the maximum speed is about 29 knots, and the cruising range reaches 2900 nautical miles.
"Strelets" became the second boat in this pair. The first ship, "Stupinets" with factory number 01301, was launched in July 2024 and later sent to the Caspian Sea for trials.
