Blades and tail assembly fold, maintaining compactness during transport

Russian inventor Mikhail Deikun has received a patent for a remotely controlled flight and lift platform. The development is an unmanned rotorcraft with a folding design, intended for use in various industries.

The platform is designed with a monocoque fuselage. The front part features a flattened fairing, while the rear has a folding tail assembly consisting of two rounded fragments that, when folded, follow the contour of the fuselage. In the middle part, a coaxial rotor system is installed – two counter-rotating propellers with folding blades. Electric motors are placed between the propellers.

As noted in the patent description, the technical solution provides increased flight stability while maintaining compactness during storage and transportation. The folding design allows for quick deployment of the platform before launch and compact packing for transport.

The development can be used in aerial photography, monitoring, cargo delivery, and other tasks where mobility and rapid launch are important.
