Rosstandart intends to significantly update the regulatory framework of the construction industry – the development of 373 documents is planned by the end of 2027. More than 70 new topics have already been included in the program for 2026.
Among the already prepared projects are a standard for the maintenance and repair of basements and technical subfloors, a classifier of types of work for major repairs of common property in apartment buildings, and unified requirements for digital software complexes for assessing the technical condition of buildings. A separate direction is a series of standards for smart home technologies, establishing requirements for intelligent metering devices for heat, gas, electricity, and water.
Standards are being prepared for modern construction technologies and engineering systems: remote construction monitoring, installation of internal networks, heating, ventilation, and water supply systems, as well as new requirements for finishing works. The federal fund currently registers more than 1,500 active standards covering all stages of the life cycle of facilities – from design to major repairs. Expanding the list by approximately a quarter should systematize quality and digitalization requirements for construction.
