Ozon applications have disappeared from the Google Play store for Android devices, the company's press service confirmed. This refers to the Ozon marketplace, Ozon fresh, Ozon Travel, and Ozon Select services. Android smartphone owners can still download them from RuStore, AppGallery, and Galaxy Store.
The company stated that Ozon did not violate Google Play rules, and the services themselves are not under sanctions. Earlier, on August 12, the Ozon Bank application was removed from Google Play. At that time, the organization explained that previously installed programs would continue to work, but new ones could no longer be installed.
The removal of Ozon Bank is linked to sanctions pressure: in late July, the bank was subjected to EU restrictions as part of the 14th package, and on August 6, the UK imposed sanctions against it. The disappearance of the main Ozon applications from Google Play occurred a few days later. Android users are left to use alternative stores that continue to operate.
