Grain Terminal in Novorossiysk Halted Operations After Drone Attack

Delo Group paused all main operations for the safety of employees and infrastructure

Delo Group has suspended operations at the KSK grain terminal in the port of Novorossiysk. The company explained the decision by the need to ensure the safety of employees and infrastructure.

The terminal has stopped unloading road and rail transport, loading grain onto sea vessels, and other operations. Delo Group promises to provide further notice when operations resume.

KSK is part of DeloPorts, which manages the group's assets in Novorossiysk. The terminal's capacity is 7.4 million tons of grain per year. It can receive up to 180 railway cars and about 800 grain trucks per day.

The suspension occurred after a massive drone attack on Krasnodar Krai on the night of August 12. Earlier, industry representatives reported an attack on the Novorossiysk Grain Terminal, and the United Grain Company stated that the infrastructure of the Novorossiysk Bakery Products Plant terminal was damaged.
