The new Russian premium brand Tenet Plus will expand its model range with a car featuring a series hybrid powertrain (the internal combustion engine acts as a generator, producing electricity for the electric motor that drives the car). This was announced by the company's press service.
The new model will join the lineup in 2027. It will be equipped with a REEV (Range-Extended Electric Vehicle) powertrain, where the internal combustion engine is not mechanically connected to the transmission and wheels. The car will differ from previous Tenet Plus models with an increased range. Detailed specifications of the model will be announced later, the press service added.
Russian AGR Holding and Chinese company Defetoo became technology partners in February 2025. At the same time, the Tenet brand, aimed at the mass market, was announced.
Tenet Plus was introduced in early 2026. The new brand enters the Russian market with the compact L4 crossover and the mid-size L6. Sales are scheduled to start in late August.
