"Brain" for Military Equipment and Beyond: Belarus Unveils VMR-755 Module with Intel Core i9 and Xeon

The device is designed to operate at temperatures from -40 to +55 °C and can be used in specialized computing systems

The Belarusian enterprise OAO "NIIEVM" has created the VMR-755 processor module to increase the computing power of automated systems and special equipment, including those used in the military sphere. The new board is designed for CPCI 3U standard systems and supports modern Intel Core i7, Core i9, and Xeon processors.

In essence, the VMR-755 acts as a computing node that can become part of airborne or ground equipment. Its task is to process data, ensure software operation, and manage connected equipment.

The module supports processor solutions in COM Express Type 6 Basic and Type 6 Compact formats. The set of peripheral interfaces includes HDMI/DVI, VGA, USB 2.0 and USB 3.0, Ethernet, RS-232, SATA, and M.2.

Information security tools are also provided for special equipment. The VMR-755 allows the installation of a trusted boot module and the PAK "Sobol", designed to protect against unauthorized access.

The module is designed to operate at temperatures from -40 to +55 °C, which allows it to be used in equipment designed for operation in harsh conditions.
