"Smart" Detector with Self-Learning Algorithms: "Tribonik" Perimeter Security System Included in Ministry of Industry and Trade Register

The development is used to protect important facilities in St. Petersburg and Moscow

The "Tribonik" security alarm system based on the TIO-01 triboelectric detector, developed by the "Special Systems and Technologies" Group of Companies (GC "SST"), has been included in the Register of Industrial Products of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade. The complex is designed to ensure the security of various facilities, including industrial ones, the GC "SST" press service reported.

The "Tribonik" system is a reliable solution that is easy to install. It is based on a "smart" detector that analyzes signals coming from a triboelectric cable (a conductor that generates a weak electrical signal in response to mechanical deformation).

Thanks to self-learning algorithms, the device is capable of virtually performing the function of an engineer constantly present at the facility, effectively distinguishing natural interference from real threats.

Advantages of the "Tribonik" system:

  • automatic sensitivity adjustment
  • minimal false alarms
  • low cost per linear meter
  • effective operation when installed on fences and indoors
  • easy integration with existing security systems

The development of GC "SST" has passed pilot industrial tests in the Rosgvardiya, at facilities of "Transneft", "Severstal". "Tribonik" can also be used to protect railway and road bridges, and railway stations.

The system is already used to protect the Pushkin gas distribution station, the Hermitage storage facility "Staraya Derevnya" in St. Petersburg, facilities of AO "Mosgaz", as well as electrical substations in Bashkiria.
