First Deputy Chairman of the Sberbank Executive Board Alexander Vedyakhin stated on the "Green Transition" program on the "Russia-24" TV channel that Sber consistently adapts its products and services, makes events accessible, and demonstrates the most important principles of inclusion through its own example.
According to Vedyakhin, Sber develops an inclusive environment so that people with developmental disabilities and children with orphanage experience can lead a full and dignified life. The bank adapts products and services, makes events accessible, and supports the most important principles of inclusion with its own example — "nothing about us without us," meaning it involves people with disabilities in the development of new solutions.
The bank attracted more than 1,100 people with disabilities to create inclusive AI-based services. Among them are sign language to text translators and voice assistant trainers who help improve understanding of people with speech impairments.
Sber has already named inclusivity, education, climate initiatives, and support for volunteering as key areas of sustainable development. The company also created a special support program for employees raising children with disabilities, analyzing their needs and life experiences to develop useful solutions.
