Two more MPKS-L project vessels with YaMZ-5368 diesel engines laid down at "Nefteflot" site

The first vessels for passenger transportation in the Samara region are planned to be delivered to the customer in autumn 2026

Samara shipbuilders laid down the keels of two single-hull vessels with a two-tier superstructure (MPKS-L project) at the production site of ZAO "Nefteflot". The motor ships are intended for passenger transportation on inland waterways in the Samara region.

"Nefteflot" company signed a contract with GTLC for the construction of two MPKS-L project vessels in November 2024. The customer under the leasing agreement is Samara River Passenger Enterprise (OOO "SRPP"). The project was prepared by specialists of GK "R-Flot".

Characteristics of MPKS-L project vessels:

  • Length — 29.95 m
  • Width — 7.88 m
  • Side height — 2.75 m
  • Power plant — 2 diesel-reduction units YaMZ-536DMT140H (consisting of a YaMZ-5368 series diesel engine and a DMT140H marine reverse-reduction gear)
  • Crew — 6 people
  • Passenger capacity — 240 people

In August 2025, "Nefteflot" began construction of two MPKS-L project vessels. They are expected to be delivered to OOO "SRPP" in September 2026.
