Giant Milk Tanker on KamAZ-65657 Chassis with 11-ton Tank Presented by "Vologodskiye Mashiny"

Polyurethane foam insulation maintains product temperature during transit

The "Vologodskiye Mashiny" plant presented a new milk tanker on a KamAZ-65667 chassis. The thermally insulated tank with a volume of 11 thousand liters is equipped with a 50 mm thick layer of polyurethane foam. According to the manufacturer, this ensures a minimal change in product temperature (±2°C) within 10 hours with a 30°C difference from the ambient environment.

The machine is designed for transporting raw milk from farms to processing plants. The tank is made of food-grade stainless steel AISI-304, and its design allows for thorough washing and disinfection of the inner surface.

The KamAZ-65657 chassis belongs to the modern K5 generation and has a 6×4 wheel arrangement. The vehicle is equipped with a 390 hp 6-cylinder in-line engine and a robotic 12-speed gearbox. The gross vehicle weight is 26 tons, and as part of a road train, it can reach up to 44 tons. The cabin is low, 2300 mm wide, with a low tunnel and a sleeping berth.

As explained by the company, the machine has already passed tests and is ready for serial production. The "Vologodskiye Mashiny" plant specializes in the production of tank trucks for food liquids, fuel tankers, and vacuum machines, and is among the top three manufacturers of tank trucks in Russia.
