Fraudsters have started to scare Russians with allegedly annulled work experience. Victims receive calls or messages from the Social Fund or tax authorities, informing them of a "technical glitch" that could supposedly lead to the loss of future pensions or benefits.
Then, the scammers offer to urgently correct the error or arrange compensation. To do this, they ask for a code from an SMS, bank card details, or other information that allows them to log into their personal account on "Gosuslugi".
Government agencies do not pay automatic compensation and do not annul work experience over the phone.
You can check information about your work experience and the status of your individual personal account independently through "Gosuslugi". You should not follow links from suspicious messages or provide confirmation codes to strangers.
Moshelovka reminded: if the interlocutor rushes you, threatens with pension loss, and demands a code, it is best to end the conversation immediately.
