Specialists of the "Rosel" holding developed a highly sensitive thermal imager "Sych-3K", which detects thermal radiation at any time of the day and even in difficult weather conditions at a distance of up to 2 km. This was reported by the Rostec press service.
The two-kilometer range is not a marketing figure, but a real distance at which the operator distinguishes the type of object.
As the holding's representative emphasized, it is important not only to notice an object, but also to recognize it.
Technical features of the "Sych-3K" thermal imager:
- Built-in digital four-fold zoom
- Color OLED display
- Moisture-protected casing
- Operation at temperatures from -20 °C to +50 °C
- Operation from 1 set of batteries for 4 hours
The "Rosel" dual-purpose development (for military and civilian purposes) can be used, among other things, in search and rescue operations, for detecting leaks and insulation defects at industrial facilities. The thermal imager will also be useful for hunters and cavers.
