Belarusian engineers have developed their own sine filter for the output circuits of frequency converters, capable of replacing foreign analogues. The new electrical device was created by specialists from OAO "NIIEVM" as part of a program to reduce dependence on imported components.
The sine filter is designed for AC frequency converters and performs the task of cleaning the output PWM signal. The device converts pulsed voltage into a higher quality sinusoidal signal, reducing the level of higher harmonics, which can cause additional losses, heating, and accelerated wear of equipment.
The development is designed to work with loads at a frequency of 400 Hz and allows to increase the stability of electrical systems. The filter reduces the negative impact of the converter on connected equipment, improves output voltage parameters, and expands the possibilities of using longer unshielded cable lines.
According to the developer, the new sine filter has already passed a full cycle of tests and was installed as part of a complex product manufactured by OAO "NIIEVM". The tests confirmed the effectiveness of the device and the possibility of its use instead of imported solutions.
