Unique footage of "Soyuz MS-29" approaching the ISS shown by station commander Kud-Sverchkov

International Space Station commander Sergey Kud-Sverchkov published footage of the piloted spacecraft "Soyuz MS-29" approaching the ISS, filmed from onboard the station. The spacecraft successfully docked with the "Prichal" module of the Russian segment after launching from the Baikonur Cosmodrome on a "Soyuz-2.1a" launch vehicle.

The launch took place on July 14 at 17:48 Moscow time. Approximately nine minutes after launch, the spacecraft entered orbit, separating from the third stage of the rocket.

The flight followed a super-short two-orbit rendezvous scheme. Thanks to this, the journey to the International Space Station took only a few hours.

Roscosmos cosmonauts Pyotr Dubrov and Anna Kikina, as well as NASA astronaut Anil Menon, arrived at the ISS aboard "Soyuz MS-29".

The expedition is planned to last 261 days. During this time, the crew will conduct dozens of scientific experiments and perform a number of technical tasks aboard the International Space Station.
