More than half of Russians trust artificial intelligence. According to an Ozon survey, 49% rather trust neural networks, and another 12% fully trust them. 29% took a neutral stance, and about 10% are distrustful of the technology.
People aged 18–24 were the most open to AI. Russians over 45 are more often cautious – among them are the most who do not trust neural networks at all. The study involved 1.5 thousand people aged 18 to 55.
Most often, AI is used for creating texts, images, and videos – 52% of respondents answered this way. Another 50% turn to it for translations, 45% – when searching for products, a third encounter the technology in maps and navigation, and one in five – in games and entertainment services.
Women more often use neural networks for content work, men – for text translation. Ozon, however, reminded that AI recommendations are best perceived as assistance in decision-making, rather than an unconditionally correct answer.
