Lada Vesta Sales Down by More Than a Third: H1 Results

Lada Vesta sales fell by 35.3% in the first half of 2026. According to "Autostat" calculations, 27.7 thousand cars were sold in six months, even though the overall passenger car market grew by almost 15%.

Against this backdrop, sales of the entire Lada brand decreased by only 2.2%. Statistics show a redistribution of demand within the model range: buyers are shifting to Granta (11,289 units in June) and Niva Travel, which gained 56.9% in a month.

The market grew by 29% in June to 116,276 cars, with Haval Jolion leading the dynamics, increasing sales by 2.2 times.

Vesta is losing ground both within the brand and to external competitors. Granta maintains its leadership in volume, Niva Travel strengthens due to its affordable price, and in Vesta's price segment, Chinese crossovers with richer equipment are becoming increasingly noticeable. July discounts from AvtoVAZ may be a reaction to the weak results of the first half of the year.
