A new Kirowets K-703MA-12-OP pole carrier, manufactured by the St. Petersburg Tractor Plant (PTZ), has started operating at the Komsomolskaya site of the Olkon mining and processing plant. The equipment replaced the outdated fleet and is already involved in the construction of power lines.
The machine is manufactured on a tractor module and equipped with special forks for gripping and lifting poles. It not only transports poles but also installs them in and between quarries. The main advantage is the ability to independently prepare the site for installation without the involvement of additional road equipment.
The pole carrier is equipped with a semi-automatic transmission, which allows for smooth approach to the base of the pole, jerk-free starting after gripping, and easy change of direction. A stable design with a balancer on the engine bridge ensures safe operation even when the machine is on a longitudinal or transverse slope. The cabin with a wide viewing angle and protective fencing creates comfortable conditions for the operator.
Additionally, the equipment is equipped with video surveillance, fire extinguishing, and centralized lubrication systems, which increases reliability and safety of operation in industrial conditions.
