Altaileshmash explained why European industrial equipment is inferior to Russian

Domestic tracked vehicles operate in swamps, tundra, and at temperatures down to -40 °C

At the "Altaileshmash" plant, it was stated that the key difference between European and Russian industrial equipment is determined by operating conditions. In Siberia and the Far East, machines operate in swamps, peatlands, with sharp temperature fluctuations, often in complete off-road conditions and far from service centers.

According to plant representatives, for such conditions, "comfortable" equipment adapted to European roads and climate is not enough. Domestic developers design machines focusing on real loads and harsh operating conditions. Experience of operation in severe conditions is incorporated into the design at the development stage.

Altaileshmash produces tracked vehicles for forestry and municipal services. The basic MTCH-4 model is equipped with a 312 hp YaMZ engine, hydrostatic transmission, a 13 m³ dump body, and a payload capacity of up to 15 tons. Provision is made for installing a mulching head for clearing areas of shrubs and undergrowth.

The plant also produces a multifunctional "four-in-one" machine on a six-roller tracked chassis weighing 22 tons, designed for operation in tundra and forest-tundra. The specific ground pressure is 0.4 kg/cm². Engines range from 130 to 420 hp, tracks up to 730 mm wide. The machines are designed for operation at temperatures down to -40 °C and are equipped with additional equipment: bulldozer blades, KMU-150 crane-manipulator units (lifting capacity up to 7 tons), drilling modules, winches, and welding units.
