At the international exhibition "Innoprom - 2026", a new integrated onboard equipment complex "Aviator" for Russian light aircraft was presented. The development was created by Kamensk-Uralsky AO UPKB "Detal", focusing on versatility, modular architecture, and reducing the cost of equipping small aircraft.
The complex is built on a modular principle, so its configuration can change depending on the aircraft's purpose, technical requirements, and project budget. Currently, the enterprise continues to certify individual components, after which the possibilities for using "Aviator" are planned to be significantly expanded.
The new system has already been installed on SR-30 and SR-32 aircraft, created on the basis of L-29, the SR-10 training aircraft with a reverse-swept wing, as well as on the "Russian Arctic" aircraft for monitoring the Northern Sea Route. In addition, the integration of the complex into the light aircraft TANGO is ongoing.
UPKB "Detal" notes that the Russian small aviation market has long needed more affordable onboard systems. According to the enterprise, most existing solutions were developed for large aircraft and are characterized by high cost.
The new complex is specifically designed for light aircraft, and its modular design allows adapting the equipment composition to specific customer tasks, while simultaneously reducing equipment costs.
