Mir payment system cards could start working in Indonesia as early as summer 2026. The first regions for launch could be the popular tourist islands of Bali, Lombok, and Java.
The implementation of the Russian payment system is already underway. The Indonesian operator company PT Mana Indonesia is developing terminals and services for transactions.
In addition to regular terminal payments, a mobile application is planned for users. Through it, Mir cards can be used to pay via QR codes, but this will require a local SIM card.
For such QR payments, a monthly limit of 170,000 rubles without commission is planned. Earlier, it was reported that Mir cards work seamlessly in Iran.
